The Bear Island Education Authority operates under a board that meets monthly, consisting of a chairperson and 5 board members.

• Eementary school - Laura McKenzie Learning Centre - JK trhough Grade 8
• Secondary Students - Travel to urban areas for education or traveling to New Liskeard daily
• Post Secondary Students - Students attending College or University, or other educational institutions  - View Policy
